Delete your ProofOF account

Your account and all server-side data can be removed below. Pick whichever fits.

Fastest path · inside the app

Open ProofOF and sign in.
Tap Settings at the bottom of the Log tab.
Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
Confirm. Deletion happens immediately — no email round-trip.

This wipes your PocketBase user record, recovery phrase, and all uploaded receipt photos at once.

If you can't open the app, sign in below with the email and password on your ProofOF account. We'll verify, then permanently delete the account and every receipt photo attached to it.

Your password is sent only to your PocketBase backend (db.thehotchpotch.dev) over HTTPS and is verified there. It is never stored by this page.

What gets deleted

Your PocketBase user record (email, OAuth provider tokens, recovery phrase blob).
Every receipt photo stored on the server (originally end-to-end encrypted — only the file blobs were ever there).
All associated purchase records, deadlines, and notification schedules.

What stays (and why)

Data on devices you still own. We can't reach into phones or tablets you still have — use the in-app path on each one.
Aggregate analytics. None. We don't collect any.

Recovery phrase warning

If you set a recovery phrase earlier and want to ensure no one (including future account holders) can decrypt any data that may exist on another device, the only way is to forget the phrase. We can't reset it for you — that's the security model.
